The pages here are produced by the Merapi Jeep Tours editorial desk. There is no single author to introduce, so this page explains the method instead.

How a page gets written

The routine is the same for every page: find the primary source, read it, then write. Where the only available source is another travel site, the page says so instead of borrowing its confidence.

What this desk does not claim

No qualification is claimed on this site. Where an answer properly belongs to a licensed professional, the page points that out rather than answering anyway. This page names no individuals. A stated qualification should survive being asked for proof; where ours would not, it is left out entirely.

Sources and corrections

Where this site states a rule, a fee or a schedule, it comes from the operator or the official source, and we say so on the page. Where a rule has not been confirmed against an official source, we say that too. Corrections are welcome. Anything we get wrong is fixed on the page itself, with the change visible, not removed without trace.
